Jessie and Adam headed to Centennial Vineyards in Bowral for their understated, elegant nuptials with just under 120 guests. The couple, who have been together for nearly nine years, met at university and became engaged when Adam popped the question on holiday in Hamilton Island. "There are experiences in life that would haven't had happened if Adam and I weren't together. "Whenever we are together, whatever we are doing, we have fun. We have been a massive part of each others lives and can honestly say we have enjoyed every minute," says the bride.
The location was an obvious choice for the pair, who knew when they got engaged their wedding had to be in the Southern Highlands, the whole rustic vibe and courtyard at Centennial Vineyards made them both fall in love."Adam and I didn't want it to be a grand ball, a day all about us," explains Jessie, of her wedding to Adam. "It was never going to be a production or a show, we wanted one big fun beautiful wedding and that's what we got."
This couple chose to celebrate with amazing florals by Affair with George, a super fun champagne tower and lots delicious food served to all of their guests seated around long tables... sounds like the perfect party to me! After the emotional ceremony, their photographer, Darryn from McKay Photography took them for a stroll in the vineyards with their Bridal party for their sweet portraits.
What made their day most special, however, was Jessie's mum's attendance. "My mum was diagnosed with cancer two years ago and both Adam and I were extremely close to her," explains the bride. "The doctors didn't think it was medically possible, but she made our wedding and walked down the aisle to give me away." It was Jessie's mum's last time away from hospital before she passed, exactly one month to the day of their wedding.
What a beautiful and heartfelt day Jessie & Adam's wedding was for them, her Mum and both of their families. This wedding was so touching and emotional the couple were blessed with winning the Easy Weddings Wedding of the Year! I am so honored to be able to share it here with all the amazing local talents that brought it all together.
